Revival Streams: A Tribute to Charlie Kirk

Dear Brethren,  many of you have heard how the recent assassination of a dear brother Charlie Kirk has affected me and my family.   

Our brother Charlie Kirk is now standing at his Saviors side wearing the glorious crown of a martyr….

Brethren can you hear it?

The sound beneath the noise of the world?

Streams of revival—already flowing.

From the hills, to the valleys, to the rivers—

they rush, they roar, they rise,

until they press their way into the oceans of the world.

This is no ordinary water.

These are the living streams of God’s Spirit,

breaking through barriers,

spreading across nations,

calling us into the deep.

And here we stand,

at the river’s edge.

Brethren we have a choice—

to remain on the banks, watching…

or to step in,

to join the current,

to become part of this move of God.

This is our opportunity.

Our calling.

Our time to collaborate,

to rise as one body,

to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ

to every corner of His creation.

Gods heart is that none would perish.

None.

Not one.

So I say— brethren

rise with faith,

move with boldness,

step into the waters.

Because revival is not coming.

Revival is here! 

While watching the televised memorial today I wrote this poem which prompted this email. 

REVIVAL STREAMS

Streams of revival are already flowing,

Rushing to rivers across this land,

Revival waters gathering strength, gushing forward,

Fighting their way toward the oceans of the world.

The Spirit of God is on the move—

Unstoppable, uncontainable, alive.

It is our moment, our holy calling,

To join the current, to join the cause.

Hand in hand, in collaboration,

We will spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ,

To every corner of His creation,

That none should perish,

But all should know His love.
